Journal Business Model
At the International Journal of Economic and Social Studies (IJESS), both readers and authors benefit from a fully open-access publishing model. We believe that open access promotes global accessibility, equity in knowledge dissemination, and greater research impact across professional, academic, and broader communities.
All articles published in IJESS are freely accessible online without subscription or paywall barriers.
Article Processing Charges (APC)
Starting July 1, 2025, IJESS applies an Article Processing Charge (APC) for all accepted manuscripts. This fee covers essential publishing services, including:
-
Peer review management
-
Editorial production and formatting
-
Online hosting and website maintenance
-
Long-term digital archiving and indexing
The APC is not requested at the time of submission and has no influence on editorial decisions, which are based solely on academic merit and relevance.
APC Fees (Effective July 2025):
-
USD 25 – for international authors
-
Rp 300.000 – for authors based in Indonesia
Payment Requirements:
-
Authors must confirm their ability to cover the APC at the time of submission.
-
Invoices are issued only after the manuscript is accepted for publication.
Article Submission Charges (ASC)
IJESS does not charge any submission fees. Authors can submit manuscripts without incurring any upfront costs.
